Service Agreement — By Owner Lakeland


	If you are committed to selling your home yourself, welcome! We are committed to the concept of a pure "For Sale by Owner" (FSBO) website and business in northern Wisconsin. In order to do this you must agree to not advertise your property for sale on any other FSBO or real estate web site (MLS), while listing on the By Owner Lakeland website. We must do this in order to maintain the quality of information that we have on our website. Buyers must be confident that they are truly buying directly from the owner of the property. We're here simply to assist in the FSBO process by offering for sale by owner sellers in and around Minocqua an internet-based system for selling their own homes. It is an invaluable opportunity for buyers and sellers, both locally and from around the world, to connect over the internet. We are not realtors and aside from our initial fee, receive nothing in payment from either buyer or seller. Our one-time fee of $50 includes a 6-month listing time on the site (until you sell, go off the market or list with an agent or broker), and the use of one attractive yard arm sign and one brochure box. Service is for one property only and may not be transferred to another property. Yard signs and brochure boxes remain the property of By Owner Lakeland. By Owner Lakeland does not accept responsibility for accidental injury involving the yard sign or its placement. Most signs are installed within 3 business days. Since we incur nearly all of our expenses in the first few days of listing a new property we cannot offer refunds. The home seller is responsible for the accuracy of the listing. Those knowingly misrepresenting their property will be asked to correct the inaccuracy. Refusal to do so may result in termination of your listing.
